We know how annoying it can be. You wake up, go to open the window and your handle falls off in your hand. Our Homecare team can offer Window Repairs in Carlisle and all of Cumbria, even up to Dumfries and the rest of Southern Scotland. So whether you have a broken handle, jammed lock, misted units or any other problems with your windows, our Homecare service is just what you need!

For over 30 years we've been market leaders in the area, providing a wide range of PVC installation and maintenance services. In the last 18 months, we've seen a higher demand for service and repair work than in previous years, so we decided to launch our own dedicated department - World Group HomeCare.

It's important to remember that windows are just like a car. Without servicing your car, or keeping it full with oil, fuel and water it will eventually grind to a halt. Leaving you with no car, a big bill and feeling disgruntled. With windows, we need to look after them with as much interest. We advise that all windows should be lubricated every 6 months and more importantly, they should be used! Again, like a car, if you don't use it, the battery will die, the brakes will cease and your car will not work. With a window, if you don't use it, the hinges will cease and cause difficulty for you. Open each window in your house every week and you'll prolong the lifespan of them, simply. Don't worry though, if you're not an existing World Group customer, we're more than happy to come and show you how we can help you put an end to the leaky window, jamming handle or misty units. The way we work is simple: We charge an initial call out fee which covers the first hours labour on site. This fee depends on how urgent you request the visit and where abouts in our working area you are located. If it's just minor adjustment or alteration that is needed, we're happy to do that within the first hour - if time permits. If, however, there are further parts required, we will provide you with a written quotation or you to peruse - then hopefully accept. We will not charge any extra to you, or carry out any extra works without your instruction.
